Investor FAQ
Clear, factual answers for investors, banks, development-finance institutions and partners.
What does ICBC do today?
ICBC is a Ghana-registered agribusiness engaged in cashew cultivation, harvesting, aggregation and raw cashew trading. Value-added processing is a planned expansion, not a current operation.
Is the processing facility operational?
No. The cashew processing line is a planned acquisition. The facility is under development and subject to financing, approvals and implementation.
Why Ghana?
Ghana offers political stability, Atlantic port access via Tema, ECOWAS and AfCFTA membership (with the AfCFTA secretariat in Accra), established investment and free-zone frameworks, and a leading raw-cashew origin.
Why cashew?
The cashew crop supports a diversified value chain — food, plant-based nutrition, cosmetics, industrial by-products and renewable energy — with strong global demand and full-crop utilisation potential.
Why ICBC, and why now?
ICBC is an established cultivation and trading operator with a defined plan to move up the value chain at a time of growing demand for African-origin, value-added cashew products.
Has ICBC secured investment or funding?
No funding commitments, facilities or investor relationships are confirmed or implied. ICBC is engaging a potential financing ecosystem; nothing on this site should be read as a commitment.
Does ICBC hold international certifications?
No international food-safety or organic certifications are currently held. These are roadmap targets to be pursued alongside processing expansion.
What is the governance structure?
ICBC is led by Chief Executive Officer Nail Corut. Board membership information is To Be Disclosed as the governance framework is formalised.
What financing is ICBC exploring?
Potential pathways include strategic investors, development-finance institutions, commercial banks, export and trade finance, impact investors and private equity — presented as future engagement targets only.
How can investors access documents?
Selected corporate, regulatory and project documents are available to qualified parties through the secure Data Room, subject to approval and an NDA.
Answers reflect ICBC’s position at the time of publication and follow a strict policy of separating current operations, strategic initiatives and future roadmap. No financial figures, volumes or commitments are stated.
